MOBILE FOOD PANTRY

Every three months St. Mark's hosts the Mobile Food Pantry. A semi of food arrives from Kearney, Nebraska, which is distributed to anyone who attends the pantry distribution. This has been a rewarding program for all who have participated.

WELCA - LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF

St. Mark's WELCA group ministers to the needs of the worldwide church community by collecting items for and donating Health Kits, School Kits, Layettes, and Sewing Kits as well as quilts  to Lutheran World Relief. Currently 47 quilts are being tied, to be donated in October.

HOWARD GREELEY FOOD PANTRY

St. Mark's donates generously to the Howard Greeley Food Pantry which serves families in the Howard and Greeley counties. Although we support the Food Pantry all year, one specific month is designated as Food Pantry month where items collected are placed at the altar.

Anyone wishing to donate may bring items to the church. Watch the newsletter for announcements about our Food Pantry month.

WIC CLINIC

WIC is the nutrition program for Women, Infants and Children.  St. Mark's hosts the local WIC clinic in the fellowship hall on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Please check the church calendar for the actual dates of the clinics.

JUNK JAUNT

The Junk Jaunt is a 300 mile-long garage sale that takes place in central Nebraska every year in late September. St. Mark's is a vendor site during this weekend selling our 'junk' and providing food for sale. It was rumored last year that St. Mark's sloppy-joes were the best in town!

BOY SCOUT TROOP 121

Boy Scout Troop 121 meets two times a month at St. Mark's for troop meetings and other activities.  Check the calendar for specific meeting times. For more information about Troop 121 check the St. Paul community website.
